The areas of employment for sound engineers/technologists include recording, mixing, live sound, theatre, mastering, television, broadcast, film, video, multimedia, and monitoring engineers; designers, commercial producers and music producers. Course Information

You may enter the programme, with:

  • NQF Level 4 qualification

The learners will receive a Certificate in Sound Technology. Certificates are issued and verified by the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICTSETA).

  • Record Producer – Pay Estimate: +/- R400 000 to R550 000 a year
  • Audio Technician – Pay Estimate: +/- R366 000 to R650 000 a year
  • Digital Audio Editor – Pay Estimate: +/- R250 000 to R400 000 a year
