Course Information
You may enter the programme, with:
- NQF Level 4 qualification
The learners will receive a Certificate in Radio Production. Certificates are issued and verified by the Media, Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICTSETA).
- Radio Announcer – Pay Estimate: +/- R450 000 to R790 000 a year
- Disk Jockey – Pay Estimate: +/- R266 000 to R650 000 a year
- Content Producer – Pay Estimate: +/- R250 000 to R300 000 a year

Customised study materials which meet the programme outcomes can be accessed from the Learner Management System, Moodle. A prescribed book list is available from the academic manager at the start of the programme, although the study guide available on Moodle will sufficiently cover the exam requirements.

Once you have achieved the Certificate in Radio Production professional training at BCT, you may progress to other programmes offered by the college or you may earn credits from public tertiary education institutions, subject to its admission requirements.
