Course Information
National Senior Certificate (NSC):
with a diploma endorsement, and English (home language) or English (1st additional language): a minimum rating of 4, and
OR
Senior Certificate:a minimum symbol of E for English on the higher grade, or D for English on the standard grade, and
ORNational Certificate (Vocational):
a minimum of 40% for Communication or English, and
vocational subjects relevant to hospitality/catering.

On successful completion of the programme, the student will receive a Diploma in Hospitality Management certificate conferred by the College Rector at the college’s official graduation ceremony.
- Hotel Manager – Pay Estimate: +/- R300 000 to R550 000 a year
- Chef Assistant – Pay Estimate: +/- R150 000 to R300 000 a year
- Event Planner – Pay Estimate: +/- R180 000 to R850 000 a year

A prescribed book list is available from the academic manager at the start of the programme, although the study guide available on Moodle will sufficiently cover the exam requirements.
