Course Information

Senior Certificate: a minimum symbol of E for English on the higher grade, or D for English on the standard grade, and OR National
Certificate (Vocational): a minimum of 40% for Communication or English, and vocational subjects relevant to hospitality/catering.

The Diploma in Hospitality Management is accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee [HEQC] of the Council on Higher Education [CHE] and is registered on the National Qualifications Framework [NQF] with the South African Qualifications Authority [SAQA].

  • Hotel Manager – Pay Estimate: +/- R300 000 to R550 000 a year
  • Chef Assistant – Pay Estimate: +/- R150 000 to R300 000 a year
