Course Information
N3 Certificate or a National Senior Certificate
Berea Technical College is provisionally registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) and is also accredited by the Quality Council for Trade and Occupations
(QCTO).
Learners will receive a National N Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current) on completion of the N4-N6 (12 subjects) and 24-months of in service training from the DHET
On completion of the theory component at N6 level, they will receive an additional aligned–diploma from the QCTO and a statement of results from the DHET.
All examinations are set and administered by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). The National N Diploma is issued by the DHET.
- Electrician – Pay Estimate: +/- R250 000 to R1000 000 per year
- Junior Project Manager – Pay Estimate: +/- R180 000 to R350 000 per year
- Junior Controls Engineer – Pay Estimate: +/- R150 000 to R350 000 per year
- Electrical Designer – Pay Estimate: +/- R180 000 to R390 000 per year
