Course Information

You may enter the BCom programme, with any one of the following:
  • A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a Bachelor pass, or
  • An equivalent NQF level 4 qualification with proven proficiency in English
  • Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
The BCom Supply Chain Management is accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee [HEQC] of the Council on Higher Education [CHE] and is registered on the National Qualifications Framework [NQF] with the South African Qualifications Authority [SAQA].

Once you have achieved the BCom Supply Chain Management degree, you may advance further into the Honour’s level (NQF 8) or a postgraduate diploma in Management Sciences at Durban University of Technology (DUT) or the BCom Honours in Supply Chain Management offered at University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), University of Free state (UFS) or University of Stellenbosch business (USb).

Students may progress to a general B Com degree with specific credits such as the Advanced Diploma Supply Chain Management or the Advanced Diploma in Business Administration offered at DUT or the BCom in Supply Chain Management offered at UKZN, UJ, UFS or USb.
