Course Information
The minimum entry requirement for the Higher Certificate in Journalism is the following:
· A National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a Higher Certificate endorsement
Certificates are issued by MICT Sector Education Training Authority (SETA)
Qualifications are nationally recognised by industry.
On successful completion of the programme, the student will receive a Berea College of Technology Higher Certificate in Business Management.
- Administrative Assistant – Pay Estimate: +/- R120 000 to R200 000 a year.
- Customer Service Representative – Pay Estimate: +/- R130 000 to R220 000 a year.
- Junior Sales Consultant – Pay Estimate: +/- R150 000 to R280 000 a year.
- Receptionist – Pay Estimate: +/- R110 000 to R190 000 a year.
- Office Assistant – Pay Estimate: +/- R120 000 to R200 000 a year.
- Call Centre Agent – Pay Estimate: +/- R120 000 to R220 000 a year.
- Data Capturer – Pay Estimate: +/- R110 000 to R180 000 a year.
