Course Information

You may enter the Higher Certificate programme, with any one of the following:
  • National Senior Certificate (NSC) with a certificate endorsement

The Higher Certificate in Maritime Studies is accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee [HEQC] of the Council on Higher Education [CHE] and is registered on the National Qualifications Framework [NQF] with the South African Qualifications Authority [SAQA].
Berea College of Technology (Pty) Ltd is registered as a Private Higher Education Institution with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), with registration number 2000/HE07/004. On successful completion of the programme, the student will receive a higher certificate conferred by the College Rector at the college’s official graduation ceremony.
