Course Information

You may enter the National N Diploma programme, with any one of the following:

  • A National Senior Certificate
  • Senior Certificate or an equivalent NQF 4.

The National N Diploma is accredited by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET). All examinations are set and administered by the Department and the final qualification is issued by the DHET on completion.

Learners will receive the following at each level:
  • National Certificate N4, N5, N6
  • National N Diploma in Travel and Tourism on completion of N4-N6 and 18-months of in-service training
  • Travel team leader – Pay Estimate: +/- R15 000 to R350 000 per year
  • Travel Administrator – Pay Estimate: +/- R100 000 to R120 000 per year
  • Safari Consultant – Pay Estimate: +/- R250 000 to R700 000 per year

Customised study materials which meet the programme outcomes can be accessed from the Learner Management System, Moodle. A prescribed book list is available from the academic manager at the start of the programme, although the study guide available on Moodle will sufficiently cover the exam requirements.
