Course Information

You may enter the programme, with:

  • NQF Level 4 qualification
The Occupational Certificate is accredited by the Higher Education Quality Committee [HEQC] of the Council on Higher Education [CHE] and is registered on the National Qualifications Framework [NQF] with the South African Qualifications Authority [SAQA].
The Cybersecurity Analyst Occupational Certificate is accredited by the Quality Council for Trade and Occupations (QCTO). On successful completion of the programme, the student will receive a statement of result from Berea College of Technology and upon meeting the EISA requirements, receive an Occupational Certificate: Cybersecurity Analyst from the QCTO.
  • Security Engineer – Pay Estimate: +/- R300 000 to R900 000 a year
  • Testing and Hacking – Pay Estimate: +/- R200 000 to R600 000 a year
  • Incidence Response – Pay Estimate: +/- R300 000 to R500 000 a year
  • Management and Administration – Pay Estimate: +/- R300 000 to R800 000 a year
